Abstract

Covid-19 pandemic has caused many changes in almost any fields of life. It also has a deep impact to some professions including the profession of the secretary. The changes require more complex competences that the secretary should posses. This article is aimed at identifying the competences of the secretary as the competitive advantages not only during the pandemic but also pasca pandemic when they have to adapt to “the new normal” in executing their duties. Knowing the protocol of health, mastering the technology of information and communication, having posititive mental attitude and integrity, being adaptive are some of the competences that support the secretary in running their duties in the pandemic and pasca pandemic.
