Abstract

Taxes constitute the primary source of state revenue to finance the implementation of governmental functions. The practice of tax collection has a long history, evolving from conventional methods to modern ones. Continuous innovations in tax payment mechanisms are undertaken to optimize tax revenue. In line with advancements in information technology, the government has introduced the Coretax system, which integrates the entire process of tax administration. Furthermore, tax payment procedures have been adjusted through the application of a tax billing system (Billing ID). Taxpayers are required to independently generate their Billing ID within the Coretax administrative system as a mandatory prerequisite for tax payment.
