Abstract

Leadership is an accumulative experience. Students are leaders in the future. True understanding of leadership knowledge and the real leadership experience are needed. The aim of this research is to analyze regarding the understanding and experience of leadership attitudes. The data used are student’s statements of Office Administrations, Management, and Public Relations Study Program attending Leadership Subject in odd semester 2024-2025. The ten leadership attitudes discussed were concrete vision; be your own messenger; build a team ego; act with integrity; act decisively; be adaptable; be consistent; maintain focus; live for the future, not in the past; act selflessly. The research used qualitative method to asses knowledge and experience of students. The statements of all students are grouped and concluded qualitatively. Generally, the student’s understanding of ten leadership attitudes are right. The student’s experiences of ten leadership attitudes are only in small or private scopes. Leadership potentials of the students need to be enriched by other experiences continuously.
