Abstract

This study evaluates the effect of regional government spending in the health, regional government spending in the social shelter, and regional government spending in the education, to human development index in 35 districts/cities in Central Java. The model consists of one behavioral equation : human development index eqation. The estimation technique was used Ordinary Least Squares (OLS). The sample covers observations for 35 districts/cities in Central Java in 2021. The data were obtained from Badan Pusat Statistik and various other sources. The results of this study is that: regional government spending in the health and regional government spending in the social shelter positive effect to human development index in 35 districts/cities in Central Java, but regional government spending in the education does not positive effect to human development index in 35 districts/cities in Central Java.
