Abstract
Archives are important data that needs to be managed by every organization or institution, government or private. Including archives produced by the government at sub-district level as the lowest regional government. Records received and issued need to be managed carefully and thoroughly. Archive management at the sub-district level will benefit the residents of the sub�district community and the sub-district itself. In order to optimize the management of village archives, steps can be taken starting from collecting village archives systematically, compiling village archive classifications, storing village archives in a systematic system, both manual archive storage systems and digital archive storage systems. Furthermore, archive maintenance is carried out which is managed seriously so that the safety of the archives, both in terms of the physical archives and the information aspect, is guaranteed.
