Abstract

Great leaders are influenced by their previous lives. Meanwhile, educational process is generally intended to prepare competent persons. The three aspects of competencies are knowledge, skill, and attitude in which leadership is a part of attitude aspects. According to Daniel Golleman, leadership skills are determined by emotional quotient including self-awareness, self�regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skill. The students of Office Administration Study Program of ASM Marsudirini Santa Maria Yogyakarta have to undergo apprenticeship and this study aims at exploring their experiences during the January–February 2024 apprenticeship. Their leadership skills have to be developed using various ways covered in the apprenticeship program. The experiences can be grouped into six activities: interactions with superior, interaction with employees, interaction with customers, working under the target, experiences of public speaking, and experiences of decision making or problem solving. They are potentials in developing the students’ leadership in the future life.
