Abstract
Transformation of human resource management is inevitable in digital transformation in the era of Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0. Industry 4.0 is a major revolution in terms of technological advancement with nine pillars of technologies: the industrial internet of things, cloud computing, big data, simulation, augmented reality, additive manufacturing, horizontal and vertical systems integration, autonomous robots, and cybersecurity. Society 5.0 aims to improve people’s quality of life by utilizing the excellence of Industry 4.0. Electronic Human Resource Management (E-HRM) is a transformation of human resource management. The use of e-recruitment, e-training, e-mentoring, e-career management, e-compensation, and e-performance appraisal are used to transform human resource management in line with Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0.
