Abstract

Indepth interview and documentations are used to scrutinize and analyze tourism industry that has been developing and competing massively. Marketing communication tools are integrated to convey a single planned message to persuade public thinking about and visiting Kulon Progo tourism destination. All of marketing communication tools are orchestrated to boost up strategy that will be implemented.Researcher monitored, analyzed, and evaluatednorthern Kulon Progo which is running a personal tourism. Personal tourism is a tourism destination that can be reached by a motorcycle or small car, such as suv (sport utility vehicle) or mpv (multi purpose vehicle). City bus or larger vehicle is quite difficult to pass through and reach tourism destinations in northern Kulon Progo.Focus of this research lies on how marketing communication strategy promoting personal tourism so that people can get to know the tour.The results showed that some marketing communication tools have been orchestrated to boost marketing communication strategy. Tourism organizer enhance photography and social media ability to socialize their activities. We can recognize that photography and social media can be used to promote everything we produce and sell, including tourism.
