Abstract

The millennial generation has many advantages, especially its ability to access and utilize technology as a tool that can facilitate daily activities. On the other hand, it must be honestly acknowledged that there are fundamental weaknesses that the millennial generation has, namely the potential for using technology that is not in accordance with Pancasila values. Even though Pancasila is the basis of the state which must be the basis of ethics and morals for all society, the millennial generation is no exception. Problems that arise on the surface in an effort to actualize Pancasila values for the millennial generation include various crises, such as the increasingly widespread development of social media; exemplary crisis; identity crisis; crisis of ideological awareness and legal crisis. Of course, also the characteristics of the millennial generation who like to use various technologies and social media. The existence of these various challenges certainly requires creativity in the actualization of Pancasila values by the millennial generation. Actualization of Pancasila values can be done objectively or subjectively. This is because the millennial generation is part of the younger generation who will lead Indonesia in the future. Therefore, in order for these millennial citizens to grow and develop into the golden generation in 2045, their awareness must be built in actualizing the values of Pancasila until internalization occurs in every millennial citizen so that he or she will become a citizen who has noble character, morals, ethics, culture and civility based on Pancasila.
