Abstract
coping the problems. The obsolete ways of working and forms of organization have changed, and are no longer suitable with the current condition. Digital technology has replaced those old styles with the new ones. Competition and external factors have forced all organizations to adapt to this extraordinary condition; and digital transformation becomes an important choice for the organizations to survive. Organization’s digital transformation is ability to utilize new technologies and Indonesia has formulated policies and programs towards digitalization. Internet infrastructure and digital human resources have begun to develop as well; and the key factor in digital transformation is leadership capabilities. Related to that, organizations must pay attention to inovative ideas in satisfying customers; and digital leadership becomes the way to adapt to the customers’ needs. Digital leadership greatly determines the success of the digital transformation. Meanwhile, digital transformation requires the leader’s capabilities to mobilize all members of the organization, make strategic decisions, recognize the new value sources, create new business processes, understand the new customers and employees, and understand the new suitable leadership style. All of these changes must be led by digital leader to make the organization able to increase its economic aspects.
