Abstract

Literature is a mirror and an expression of the author life in his society. By literature, the author can express a part of his experiences and the way of life that he faced. It depends on the theme that he expressed, because every problem is not always related with the social field of his life. Sometimes, literature has a bigger problem but it is not always like that. One theme has political focus or orientation, economic, genre, environment, culture, attitude, religion/faith, etc. There is social structure most influented, so it could born literature like we face now. It depends on social level that is represented and expressed by the author in the time or period from the problem that is faced and annoyed the author mind. Literature cannot reflect the whole life aspects as the problems faced by the society. For example, a novel, biography or autobiography could not describe a whole of the society conditions. The coloring of everything of the life aspects or sides in a society appears as a part. That happends for the film, too. It seems able to describe more pictures but in reality it only describes part of it. Both of them have differences in telling and facilities only. The difference is, the film reality can be visible as a picture, but in literature is depends on the readers’ abstraction. The function of the literature social in this case is related with the present of religiousity and moral value. Religiousity value is the core of human life quality that has two differences, those are a faith of religiousity referring to an attitude and a character of religions man/woman or enfold in their specific faith. The faithman or faithwoman is such as religious absolutely. Non faith religiousity refers to the daily taste, attitude, and action of person closer to the loyal conscieness. Moral value is attitude or important thing that is useful for humanity. All of the aspects above are able approached by literature sociology theory that is one of tools to approach the literature art by considering the society aspects in the literature outer itself.
