Abstract
Catechesis of the faithful means the communication of faith from, by, and for the people. The themes of the catechesis of the faithful are born from families. It contains the problems and hopes and aspirations of the people. The theme was raised in the meeting as the core message and formulation of the problem to be discussed in the meeting. The theme of the catechesis meeting of the people can also be condensed into the title of the preparation for the meeting. The process of community catechesis as a communication of faith begins with sharing and praying together; reading the Scriptures; discussion of the message of the contents of the Bible and participants' responses to the contents of the passage of the Bible; prayer requests for all people who are present and their families as well as anyone who is prayed for in the joint prayer; discovery of new hope that has been discussed in the group. This new hope is confirmed by the Our Father and the closing prayer. Before the closing prayer, the themes that will be discussed in the catechesis meeting of the people are usually read on the next occasion. People are given the opportunity to choose and determine the theme to be discussed in the next meeting. The facilitator is given the opportunity to systematically prepare preparations for the next meeting including the opening and communication process of faith and closing as confirmation of the people's faith.
