Abstract

This study investigates the perception of public service user toward the implementation of the ten principles of public services delivered by Paniradya Kaistemewan DIY. The method used is descriptive qualitative supported with percentage as the simple quantitative data. The data collection techniques used were documentation, interview, paticipant observation and questionnaires. The 38 out of 50 repondents responded the questionnaires distributed to know their perception of the ten principles of public services delivered by Paniradya Kaistemewan DIY. The ten principles of public service were the ministerial decree No. 63 of 2003 on General Guidance of Public Service that included the principle of simplicity, clarity, time certainty, accuracy, security, responsibility, facilities/technology, accessibility or approachability, disciplinary, courtesy and hospitality and comfort or convenience. The data analysis technique used data reduction, data display and conclusion or verifications. The perception of customer indicates that 85 % public service users absolutely agreed and agreed. It meant that Paniradya Kaistemewan DIY has implemented the ten principle of public service very well and commited to public service quality. This study also recommended Paniradya Kaistimewan DIY be responsive to public information demand deliverd by social media.
