Abstract

Employees are not machines that can be controlled like mechanical production equipment to meet output targets. To achieve desired targets, employees must be motivated to align their efforts with established organizational goals. Work motivation is crucial for every employee, as it directly impacts productivity. Since work motivation is a highly individual matter, organizational leaders must consider each employee's background to provide motivation effectively. Generation Z, in particular, possesses characteristics distinct from other generations, requiring a different approach to motivation. Motivating Generation Z involves offering clear career prospects that encompass job progression, career advancement, and competency development. Furthermore, attractive reward systems comprising both financial and non-financial incentives serve as a key draw for them.
