Abstract

This study aims at describing the implementation of inventory management at ASM Marsudirini Santa Maria Yogyakarta. As a descriptive qualitative study, it implemented interviews, observation, and documentation to collect data. Then, the data were analyzed through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/verification. Based on the description and data analysis, it is concluded that ASM Marsudirini Santa Maria Yogyakarta has not implemented an optimal inventory system, starting from the initial and basic activities in inventory management, such as classifying and numbering items, to the inventory activities inherent in each inventory management function, including inventory in procurement, warehousing, maintenance, and disposal of goods. Periodic accountability reporting has not been implemented either by every official and staff member managing the goods.
