Abstract

Local Net Communication is a communication activity that is routinely held among Indonesian amateur members (Organization for Amateur Radio Indonesia) in the local area or district/municipality level and aims to gather members. This study aims to describe the use of register forms, namely variations of the language used by amateur members in communication in the air. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The data are taken from the author's involvement as well as from local net communication recordings at very high frequency (very high frequency) in the 2 meter band posted on the youtube channel as well as direct observations by the author. The data show that there are registers in the form of words/terms, numbers, abbreviations, and sentences.
