Abstract

This research aims to describe reportation of allocation of DIY special funds. We recognize that some of Yogyakarta residents do not understand about allocation of DIY special funds comprehensively. Some of them believe that DIY special funds are aimed to develop local heritage and culture. Yogyakarta has a long story to become a Special Region of Yogyakarta. Less than 5 months, Soekarno could enjoy safe circumstances to live in Jakarta as a capital city. Soekarno had to move to Yogyakarta at 4th January 1946 on a train secretly avoiding Netherlands threat. The late Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono IX and the late Pakualam VIII welcomed Soekarno warmly and fulfilled Indonesian government cost for several years. Yogyakarta has a significant role in early independence of Republic of Indonesia. Indonesian government through Undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 13 Tahun 2012 about Keistimewaan Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta gave a legal authority for DIY to manage DIY special funds. One of DIY special funds aims is to increase resident prosperity. Based on in-depth interview and documentation observations about instagram management, we can scrutinize that various content managed by Trajumas Kopi Jawa, Pagerharjo, Samigaluh, Kulon Progo are able to do two things in same time. Instagram contents managed by Trajumas Kopi Jawa can increase fighting spiriti of local coffee farmers to develop coffee cultivation. At the same time, Instagram contents are able to literate Yogyakarta residents about allocation of DIY special funds.
