Abstract

This study evaluates the effect of regional economic growth, regional unemloyment, and regional human population to poverty in 34 provinces in Indonesia. The model consists of one behavioral equation : poverty equation. The estimation technique was used Ordinary Least Squares (OLS). The sample covers observations for 34 provinces in Indonesia in 2023. The data were obtained from Badan Pusat Statistik and various other sources. The results of this study is that: regional economic growth does not negative effect to poverty, regional unemloyment does not positive effect to poverty, but regional human population positive effect to poverty in 34 provinces in Indonesia.
