Abstract

In today's millennium, there are new challenges for Gen Z as digital natives. For Indonesia, Gen Z plays an important role in democratic life. As an internet generation that is active in online media, there are challenges in the form of hoaxes, potential for indoctrination, radicalization and various other challenges. Therefore, Gen Z needs to strengthen their democratic attitude in facing the 2024 elections. However, unfortunately, Generation Z's political awareness was created because of their self-taught willingness to be interested in exploring the nation's political life. One way to strengthen democratic attitudes through democratic education is very important for today's young generation in facing democratic problems in the future. For this reason, inclusive and critical democratic education is very necessary to shape the political awareness of Generation Z. A curriculum that covers various political perspectives, contemporary issues, and critical skills can provide a strong foundation for them to be actively involved in political life. By involving strengthening democratic attitudes and sustainable political participation, innovation in the political process, and building strong dialogue between generations, by facing challenges wisely, Generation Z has great potential to shape the future of Indonesian democracy that is stronger, more inclusive, and empowered . They can become superior individuals and be able to contribute positively to Indonesian democracy. Strengthening democratic attitudes is capital for Gen Z to become a generation capable of contributing positively to efforts to achieve national goals.
