Abstract

This research aims to describe reportation of LaporGub. LaporGub is a government super application initiated by Ganjar Pranowo in his first term as a Governor of Central Java. People will be able to use LaporGub to inform or even to criticize provincial government of Central Java. As a matter of fact, LaporGub is effectively used to bridge between people and provincial government of Central Java, even the Governor, Ganjar Pranowo. People of Central Java can use LaporGub to complain any topics they want to say to provincial government of Central Java. When Ganjar was still governor of Central Java, LaporGub succeeded collecting thousands of complaints from public. Majority were successfully handled and resolved (65.2%). Question arises as to whether, after Ganjar no longer serves as governor of Central Java, LaporGub application will be continued by his successor and officials in the office of the Governor of Central Java. Based on in-depth observation of articles about LaporGub after Ganjar finished position of Governor of Central Java, reportations about LaporGub application in various media still show a positive reporting tone. Ganjar entered his retirement as Governor of Central Java on Tuesday, September 5 2023. We acknowledge that Ganjar Pranowo was declared as a candidate for President 2023-2028 on Friday, April 21 2023. Ganjar-Mahfud pair officially registered as a presidential and vice presidential candidate pair with KPU on Thursday, October 19, 2023. The point is that Ganjar no longer taking controls the operation of LaporGub. We will scrutinize how writing about LaporGub is written in electronic media after Ganjar retires as Governor of Central Java.
