Abstract

This study analyzes how recent Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, was constructed in online media news associating with infrastructure development, particularly road overhaul and maintenance. Jatengprov.go.id was the media chosen as it is used by the provincial government to socialize infrastructure development in Central Java. The data were taken from articles published by Jatengprov.go.id from January to April 2023. Using content analysis, Ganjar Pranowo’s comitment to manage infrastructure development, particularly road overhaul and maintenance in Central Java was analyzed. The quantitative analysis used consists of six steps, namely identifying research problem, determining suitable basic facts, determining representative sample, collecting contextual information, creating measurement scheme, and analyzing data. The result of this study indicates that Ganjar has strong commitment to manage infrastructure development, especially road overhaul and maintenance in Central Java.
