Abstract

Franchising is a mutually beneficial business cooperation. It is also immune from an economy fluctuation. Oneof the reasons is the cooperation among companies to use the same brand, service system and product quality. Franchising is also one method to expand market or business for companies or corporations having well-established management. This system gives shared benefit for those who involve : the franchisor (the brand owner) and the franchisee (the brand user). Franchisor can increase their efficiency and productivity with this system. For franchisee, this system can reduce the risk of business failure they run the business using the business name and brand famous. It means that the franchisees not need to spend additional resources to build and set the image. In addition to it, the franchisees only need to implemen the established system using high skill-level because they have been trained intensively and strictly.
