Abstract

Hospitals in Indonesia, including public ones, are subjected to intense competition. The growth of national as well as foreign private hospitals has proven to be a catalyst for public hospitals to improve the way they serve their customers, or more specifically their patients. RSJD Dr. RM Soejarwadi is Klaten based mental instiution which provides various mental and neurology treatments. This study was conducted to understand the factors which affected customer's perception on the hospital's service quality. More than 40 factors within the five dimensions of service quality firstly proposed by Parasuraman were identified. The results showed that the factors that represent the reliability dimension have the most significant influence on the perceived service quality
