Abstract
Optimal sales is one of the targets to be achieved by the company in running its business activities. Many factors contribute to increased sales volume such as price level, promotion, gift giving, product model, after sales service, product availability, and more. The price factor is the main concern of consumers when they are looking for a product. So that the price offered becomes the consideration of the consumer in deciding the purchase of a product. A market-based pricing strategy is based on what customers want and how competitors react. A cost-based pricing strategy is based on the cost of producing a product and the desired margin.
