Abstract

The government always tries to improve the quality of education in higher education (private) in various ways, such asrevising the set of rules and legislation, revising accreditation systems and devices, socializing, mentoring, training, and so on. Until 2015, however, private colleges accredited A or having good quality are less than 5%. Without discouraging the efforts having been made, the awareness of the importance of the role of the vision and mission in an effort to realize the quality of education is believed to be one of the obstacles. Vision, mission, values, and objectives formulated properly, should be the spirit that unites all components of the institution to achieve common goals in the agreedmanner. Only if all the components of the institution are aware of the importance of vision and mission, and implement it in real activity, the quality of education will increase.
