Abstract

Each entrepreneur has an important role in the national development. Through their companies, they combine a variety of resources to obtain value-added production. In addition, the entrepreneurs also helped create jobs for the community. However, there are some entrepreneurs who are concidered merely pursuing economic profit by ignoring the side effects of production processes that damage the environment. Yet through economic management efficiency (eco-efficiency), economic and environmental balance principle can be jointly enforced. Thus two objectives are achieved.they are : the descrease of production cost and of the amount of waste. With the good eco-efficiency, the product will meet the requirements of ecolabel, in which the products that do not have the ecolabelling of products will be rejected by consumers so they cannot be sold. Thus the eco-efficiency can increase the competitiveness of the company's products. Environmental management, eco-efficiency, competiveness.
