Abstract

This is a quantitative research. This study intended to know the relationship between interpersonal communication skills and student achievement. This research also aimed at knowing how far the student achievement was and how strong the interpersonal communication student’s skill was. The population of this study was student of Secretarial Study Program of 2015 with a sample of 46 students. Data were analyzed to know the Product Moment correlation using SPSS version 17. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between the ability of interpersonal communication with students achievement. Furthermore, most of the students had learning achievement and interpersonal communication skills in the medium category. Keywords: learning achievement, interpersonal communication skills
