Abstract
Tourism industry has been developing massively. People are struggling to create and cultivate tourism destination. We can find various tourism destinations in Yogyakarta and surroundings. Purworejo as the district located near Yogyakarta has been developing their tourism industry. Purworejo has so many waterfalls, hilly area, caves including GuaSeplawan which has very beautiful view. Using the method of case study, this research analyses the possibility to re-positionGuaSeplawan as a natural and religious tourism destination. Through a series of indepth interview and documentations, this research presupposes opportunity for tourism department of Purworejo to expand GuaSeplawan as a place to enjoy sightseeing and feel religious atmosphere inside and outside the cave. Integrated communication tools can be used to communicate their consistent message of brand positioning to prospect and consumers.
